I'm struck by this line: "Sometimes you can do it through designing with system stakeholders and sometimes you need to organize and put pressure onpower holders to dismantle systems that refuse to acknowledge our humanity." Grappling a lot lately with the question, when do we include people in power, and when do we work to challenge them? HCD always says "include," but I'm reckoning with the fact that inclusion is not always a) enough, b) helpful or c) safe.
